Songs to Help You Fall Asleep

Struggling to fall asleep at night can be extremely frustrating. Not to mention the fact that once you’re frustrated, it makes it even more difficult to fall asleep. We have good news, there are ways to combat evasive sleep, for example, listening to soothing, sleep-inducing music. This was reported by 40 women in a study comparing songs that aid in falling asleep, including artists like Mozart and Coldplay, according to 2011 research from the Mindlab Institute.

It has officially been reported that one track, in particular, made them all especially sleepy. The eight-minute song called “Weightless” by the British band Marconi Union, made in collaboration with sound therapists, was “specifically engineered to decrease stress, blood pressure, and resting heart rates using beautifully arranged harmonies featuring the guitar, piano, and the electronic samples of natural soundscapes.”
